Bender Music Group is the next generation of music industry services. The
company is the brainchild of Bo Caldwell and Jon Bergen, who combined have
many years of record company and creative services experience. With their infinite
love for music, as well as their vast talents in the marketing, promotion,
distribution, sales, online marketing, graphic design, etc., the two were ideal
candidates to break through the “new music industry” with one of the first
independent services company of its kind.
Bo and Jon have collectively contributed to the success of such labels as Mercury,
Beyond, Restless, Capitol Records, Sanctuary Records, EMI and Gold Circle, as well
as artists such as Motley Crue, Warren G, Megadeth, Hanson, Peter Murphy,
Lucy Pearl, just to name a few. They look to bring such experience to artists and
labels that face the new challenges of a completely revolutionized digital music
industry front.
Bender Music Group has the resources to take your artist, and deliver them to its audience by all means possible. We offer many services such as extensive online marketing and promotion campaigns, Internet radio/Podcast promotion, web design and maintenance, comprehensive graphic design from CD art to T-shirts and other services to build the fanbase of a label or artist. JON BERGEN

Jon Bergen has worked in an executive capacity at major labels in sales and marketing, helping both major and independent artists shape their labels and careers. His experience includes retail music sales, strategic advertising, marketing campaigns, Internet promotions, national product placement campaigns, development of an artists career, helping all level artists and labels get to the next level, as well as helping connect bands with appropriate labels and vice versa. Jon has helped labels structure a staff and build them from the ground up. Jon understands all facets of the music industry and can help fill the holes. While at Mercury Records Jon worked with such artists as Hanson and Kiss to name a few before heading to Restless Records where he helped develop and market artists such as Warren G. He then served as West Coast Director of Sales and Marketing Manager for BMG (later UNI) distributed Beyond Records where he promoted artists such as Blondie, The Go-Go's, Veruca Salt, Lucy Pearl and Motley Crue. Jon was also the National Sales Director for the Sony-distributed Gold Circle Records, promoting product for such artists as Meredith Brooks, Roland Orzabal, Pat Benatar, Jeff Lorber and John Waite. Jon is often asked to be a guest speaker and has spoke for NARIP, music schools, and is on the board of AMEHOF.

BO CALDWELL

Bo Caldwell started working in the industry because of his love for music. He has years of experience working with such name artist as Megadeth (over 20 million albums sold worldwide), Peter Murphy (formerly of well-known "cult" band Bauhaus), Robbie Nevil (billboard charting soloist) and Peter Cetera (Grammy award winning multi platinum solo artist formerly of Chicago). He has worked for a number of indie labels where he has been responsible for writing and executing strategic marketing plans, overseeing print, radio, in-store promotions, product management, web design, album artwork design, engineering, producing, replication and employee management. He has worked independently for Sanctuary, EMI and Capitol records on various projects and has also worked live concerts with artists such as Boston, Mellisa Etheridge, Alice Cooper, Ted Nugent, Kenny Chesney, Bob Dylan, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, The Temptations, The Beach Boys and much, much more. Bo studied music business at Berklee College of Music and also holds a degree in Audio Engineering from the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences. With this degree he has engineered on over 10 major label albums and various other studio albums and projects.
